Hackfort 2026 is looking for tech experts, thought leaders, industry influencers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and tech enthusiasts to present on the following topics:

• Emerging Tech – Quantum computing, XR and spatial computing, blockchain innovations, evolving metaverse applications and Web3 and post-Web3 internet trends.
• Connectivity & Infrastructure – 5G and beyond (6G horizons), edge and fog computing, IoT and smart ecosystems, cybersecurity in an AI-driven world, and cloud-native and hybrid cloud innovations.
• Sustainability & Tech for Good – Green tech, climate-positive innovation, sustainable engineering and manufacturing practices, technology’s role in climate resilience, and digital inclusion.
• Gaming & Game Development – AI-powered game design, adaptive storytelling, the future of gaming platforms and virtual worlds, game development pipelines and tools, ethics and player well-being, and cross-platform or persistent universe gaming.
• Social Media & Digital Culture – Algorithmic influence and content discovery, evolution of online communities and social spaces, digital identity and privacy, the creator economy, monetization trends, and social media’s impact on global movements.
• Design, Creative Tech & Innovation – Graphic design and branding, advanced UI/UX, motion graphics and video production, 3D modeling and animation, virtual production, creative coding, interactive installations, and the intersection of design, technology, and human experience.
• Other Frontiers – Data privacy and sovereignty, open-source ecosystems, future of education and learning technologies, space exploration and off-world industries, and robotics and human-robot interaction.

Hackfort Interactive Space Booths
  As part of the submission process, you can propose hosting a booth in the Hackfort Interactive Space. Booths should be interactive and engaging, giving attendees the chance to experience something unique that they can’t see or try every day, whether that’s a hands-on demo, prototype, experiment, or immersive activity.

Comedyfort submission form

• Submissions for Comedyfort 2026 close on December 19, 2025.
•  In this submission form, please tell us about yourself and show us your funniest work.
• All accepted comedians will be a offered a set during at least one comedy showcase during the 4 day span of Comedyfort (March 26 - 29, 2026). All accepted comedians will receive a 5-day festival wristband ($300 value per wristband), access to Comedyfort Green Room and Treefort Artist Hospitality Lounge, eternal glory, plus other Treefort good times and perks (like drink tickets, bag of goodies and more).
•  RADIUS CLAUSE: All Artists confirmed for Treefort Music Fest will be asked to not play any other Boise area (100 mile radius) shows in March 2026 and to not announce any other Boise area shows in April 2026 and beyond until after their set at the festival. We are open to exceptions to this request, but ask that they are discussed with us before confirming your appearance.

Storyfort is looking for writers of fiction, poetry, memoir, and storytellers of all kinds.

• Storyfort submissions are due by January 1, 2026. All applicants will be notified in late January.
• We will consider individual authors as well as panel presentations. In this submission form, tell us about yourself, your work, and your pitch for a panel, presentation, or reading at Storyfort 2026.
• All storytellers accepted to speak at Storyfort 2026 will be offered to speak at at least one 30-60 minute event to occur sometime over the 5 day span of the festival (March 25 - 29, 2026). All accepted artists will receive a 5-day festival wristband ($300 value per wristband), access to Treefort Artist Hospitality Lounge, eternal glory, and a bag of Storyfort goodies.

Kidfort submission form.

Please submit if you are any type of artist (music, dance, theatre, comedy, yoga, etc.) that creates work specifically for kids.

If you are a musician and your project is kid friendly but you are interested in playing the festival more broadly - not just the youth-focused stages - you will want to submit via this link instead.

• In this submission form, please tell us about yourself and/or your group and what you would like to do at Kidfort 2026 (Kidfort is Saturday and Sunday, March 28 - 29, 2026)
• Submissions for Kidfort 2026 close on November 21, 2025.
• All accepted artists will receive a minimum of $50 cash, a 5-day festival wristband ($300 value) for each group member, access to Treefort Artist Hospitality Lounge, eternal glory, and a bag of Kidfort goodies.

RADIUS CLAUSE: All talent confirmed for Kidfort will be asked to not teach or perform at any other Boise area (100 mile radius) studios or venues in March 2026 and to not announce any other Boise area events in April 2026 and beyond until after their set at the festival. Submit your music project for a chance to perform at Treefort Music Fest 2026!  

In this submission form, tell us about yourself/your band, send us links to your music, and upload your best song. Submissions for Treefort 2026 close on November 21, 2025. 

All music artists accepted to perform at Treefort 2026 will be offered at least one 30-40 minute set at an official Treefort venue over the 5 day span of the festival (March 25 - 29, 2026). All accepted artists will receive a minimum of $100 cash (additional travel reimbursement negotiable), 5-day festival wristbands for each band member ($300 value per wristband), access to Treefort Artist Hospitality Lounge, 3 guest list spots to the specific show that you play, eternal glory, plus other Treefort good times and perks (like drink tickets, bag of goodies and more).

Treefort 2026 is looking for Podcasts of all kinds.

• Podcast submissions are due by November 21, 2025. All applicants will be notified in January, if not earlier.
• All podcasts accepted to present at Treefort 2026 will be offered a 45-90min time slot to occur sometime over the 5 day span of the festival (March 25 - 29, 2026). All accepted podcasts will receive a 5-day festival wristband ($300 value per wristband) per member of podcast team, and access to Treefort Artist Hospitality Lounge. Any further compensation is negotiable upon receiving an invite.
